Foreign Currency Conversion Legal Settlement Outcome
A legal settlement has finally been agreed to in the foreign currency conversion antitrust case against Mastercard, Visa, and Diners Club. It seem that these companies were hiding and inflating foreign currency fees and conversion rates. The legal settlement agreed too by the lawyers amounts to the sum of 336 million dollars in the class action lawsuit.
If you made a foreign purchase or purchased an item from a foreign merchant during this time you are entitled to a legal monetary settlement due to this class action lawsuit. The dates the purchase must of been made are between Feb 01, 1996 and Nov 08, 2006. Many people who made a foreign purchase during this time should receive a CCF settlement document in the mail.
